Hello Fernwood Families,

High school course selection will take place on April 16 & 17 at Fernwood Ave Middle School.  Students have been assigned a 10-minute time slot to meet with their high school counselor.  Main academic classes will be selected based mostly on teacher recommendation.  Students are free to pick their world language and elective classes.  Students going into level 1 of a language will also select their first-choice language and a back-up language.  For elective classes, students will select their first-choice elective and a minimum of 4 back-up electives.  Parents can view their students' teacher course recommendations by logging into the student/parent portal and clicking on the Academic Plan.
